Station 28 is located close to the first Moraine Fire Station. In fact, this building was the former City Building and was dedicated in 1965 when the City was first incorporated. This station is currently idle but is being maintained in a state so that it can be utilized in the future if need be.

The Station is used for general storage and stores the Fire Prevention Safe House, the Brush Truck (Brush 30), and also houses the Reserve County Haz-Mat truck.

The Station is still used for training classes for both fire crews and for the public.
