Station 28 is located close to the first Moraine Fire Station. In fact, this building was the former City Building and was dedicated in 1965 when the City was first incorporated. This station is currently idle, but is being maintained in a state so that it can be utilized in the future if need be. The Station is still used for training classes for both fire crews and for the public.

The Station is used for general storage. It houses:

  • the Fire Prevention Safe House
  • the Reserve County Haz-Mat truck.

The Fire Prevention Trailer is a commercially made Surrey Fire Safety House that is used to teach smoke and severe weather training. It was built by Forks and was mainly funded through donations.
