New Fire Chief Sworn In

The Moraine Fire Division is announcing the Retirement of Chief Anthony Trick on January 14, 2016, and will be followed as Chief by Deputy David Cooper.

Chief Anthony Trick began his career as a Volunteer Firefighter with the Beavercreek Fire Department in 1979, than as a full time Firefighter in 1982. Chief Trick has served with the Moraine Fire Division since January 23, 2984. HE was promoted to Lieutenant April, 1996 and Deputy Chief in 2000 where he was in charge of Training and Maintenance of the Fire Division. He was appointed as Chief in 2007 with the retirement of Chief Steve Kirby.

Chief Trick is married with three children. He and his family reside in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Chief David Cooper began his career as Firefighter with Brookville Fire Department in 1982. Deputy Chief Cooper has served with the Moraine Division since December 1, 1986. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1996, and has been Deputy Chief since 2000. Since that time has been in charge of Personnel and Operation for the Division. Chief Cooper was awarded Firefighter of the Year in 2011, and City Employee of the Year 2012.

Chief Dave Cooper is married, has two children and three grandchildren and lives in Brookville, Ohio.
